Superintendent’s Last Year

Superintendent Wendy Houlihan has announced that she is resigning her position as superintendent of South Portland schools. She intends to move to New Hampshire or Vermont to be closer to her family. On Monday, she announced her intention to the school board. She intends to finish the school year before leaving for good, providing the opportunity for a thorough search for her replacement. After five years of faithful commitment to her community and the students of all S.P. schools, she will be missed.
