On October 24th, My Chemical Romance came out with their third album, The Black Parade. This new album is very different that their first two and it’s noticeable. The vocalist, Gerard Way’s lyrics and vocals have evolved from screaming, to a slower pace, and it’s a positive change.

Professional music critics are comparing The Black Parade to Nirvana’s Never Mind. Liza Minelli helps on the track “Mama” as the mother, and adds effect to the song. Two of my favorite songs like “Cancer” and “I Don’t Love You” are heart wrenching. My other favorites include “Welcome to the Black Parade”, “The End.” and “Teenagers”.
