Evanescence is back with their second album and it has some really deep lyrics! I hadn’t really been a fan with their last album, but with hearing the first single off The Open Door, “Call Me When You’re Sober” got me hooked.

I heard the song on WCYY and then went out and bought the CD. It’s considered Rock, but it doesn’t just fit into one Rock category. I was very impressed with the vocalist, Amy Lee. You can tell she puts her heart and soul into the lyrics.

Songs like “The Only One”, “Lacrymosa”, and “Like You” really caught my attention. If you’ve never listened to Evanescence before, give them a try. You won’t regret it, I promise.
